Taylor Kennedy

Taylor Kennedy is a multi-media artist. She is interested in conceptualizing the sentimental narratives behind the family dynamic, in an attempt at understanding the cyclical nature of people and familial lineages. She works in drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, and installation.

Taylor earned her BFA with Honors in Fine Art from RIT in 2015 and her MFA with Honors in Printmaking from the Pratt Institute in 2017.

Taylor has worked as a teaching artist in both Brooklyn and Rochester, NY. Her students have ranged from 2 years old to adult. Besides educating in The Creative Workshop, she is Adjunct Faculty at The Rochester Institute of Technology, currently teaching Foundations 2D Design to Freshman College of Art and Design Students.

Taylor has shown at the Norman Schafler Gallery in Brooklyn, The Boiler/Pierogi Gallery in Brooklyn and The International Print Center of New York in Manhattan. She is currently an Artist-in-Residence at Rochester’s Flower City Arts Center, in the Printmaking and Book Arts Department.
