The Great ARTdoors: Plein Air Painting – Teen Camp (24CSU26)

August 3–7, 2026

Are you ready to get out in the sunshine with your paints, pencils, or pastels to create a plein air (French for open air) painting? Teens will spend the week creating lively landscapes featuring MAG’s gardens and sculpture park. Each day will center around a different drawing or painting medium, allowing campers to experiment and find their favorites. The week will end with an art show on Friday in MAG’s Vanden Brul Pavilion, where families can view campers’ creations. All art materials are included.

Camps & Drop-Off Times

Instruction begins at 1:00 pm and ends at 4:00 pm. After-care is available between 4:00 and 5:30 pm for an additional fee.

Registration Information

Registration for this program starts on Monday, December 29, at 10:00 am for MAG Members, and Monday, January 5, at 10:00 am for Not-Yet-Members. Online registration ends on Friday, July 31, at 1:00 pm.

Programs with inadequate enrollment are cancelled one week before the first meeting. We will attempt to contact you via email to find an alternative program or to refund your registration fee.
