Discover the Great ARTdoors with the Creative Workshop, where we will combine art, adventure, and nature! Campers will explore MAG’s sculpture park and create far-off lands, invent animal-filled environments, and discover tons of natural textures in artmaking. Will you build a bird’s nest, print using leaves, or sketch intricate dragonfly wings? Campers will spend part of each day exploring clay. They’ll mold imaginative sculptures and useful objects using hand-building techniques, then glaze and paint their pieces. The week will end with an art show on Friday in MAG’s Vanden Brul Pavilion, where families can view campers’ creations. All art materials are included.
