Art a la Carte: Still Life & Portrait Drawing – Teen Camp (14CSU26)

With an emphasis on looking, teens will spend this week exploring still life paintings and portraits throughout MAG’s collection, creating realistic compositions of objects, and producing a self-portrait. Techniques for using various drawing materials, including charcoal, graphite, and ink, will be presented throughout the week. On Friday, the week will end with an art show in MAG’s Vanden Brul Pavilion, where families can view campers’ creations. All art materials are included.

Camps & Drop-Off Times

Instruction begins at 1:00 pm and ends at 4:00 pm. After-care is available between 4:00 and 5:30 pm for an additional fee.

Registration Information

Registration for this program starts on Monday, December 29, at 10:00 am for MAG Members, and Monday, January 5, at 10:00 am for Not-Yet-Members. Online registration ends on Friday, July 17, at 1:00 pm.

Programs with inadequate enrollment are cancelled one week before the first meeting. We will attempt to contact you via email to find an alternative program or to refund your registration fee.
