Art a la Carte: Senior Art & Clay Camp (13CSU26)

July 20–24, 2026

Get ready to serve up a week of creativity with Art à la Carte! Campers will cook up colorful, non-edible art inspired by food, drinks, sweets, and family meal traditions. They’ll visit MAG’s galleries in search of tasty inspiration, then turn their favorite foods into artworks that will never expire! From towering ice cream sculptures to colorful fruit prints to playful table-setting designs, every project will be a feast for the eyes. Campers will spend part of each day exploring clay. They’ll mold imaginative sculptures and useful objects using hand-building techniques, and have at least one experience on the potter’s wheel, then glaze and paint their pieces. The week will end with an art show on Friday in MAG’s Vanden Brul Pavilion, where families can view campers’ creations. All art materials are included.

Camps & Drop-Off Times

Instruction begins at 9:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm, but you may drop off your child as early as 8:30 am. After-care is available between 4:00 and 5:30 pm for an additional fee.

Registration Information

Registration for this program starts on Monday, December 29, at 10:00 am for MAG Members, and Monday, January 5, at 10:00 am for Not-Yet-Members. Online registration ends on Friday, July 17, at 9:00 am.

Programs with inadequate enrollment are cancelled one week before the first meeting. We will attempt to contact you via email to find an alternative program or to refund your registration fee.
