Sunday, May 15, from 12 to 4 pm, all ages are invited to the Memorial Art Gallery of the University of Rochester’s celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. Held virtually in 2021, Asian Pacific American Heritage Celebration Day will once again take place as an in-person event to celebrate culture through music, art, dance, and more. Visitors will enjoy workshops by groups including Hiten Khemani Indian Percussion and PASOR Ludi Folk Dance, make-it and take-it art activities, bilingual storytelling from ChildROC, and more, with the day ending with a grand finale performance in MAG’s M&T Bank Ballroom.
