All Are Welcome!

Celebration Series offers Rochester area families and community members the opportunity to learn more about specific cultures, communities, and events through performances, presentations, art & crafts, and more! These days are free and include museum admission with a suggested donation of $5 per group when you RSVP. Tickets are required!

Join us for Hispanic Heritage Celebration Day! Enjoy free museum admission, community and cultural tables, live dances and music, performances and presentations centered on this year’s spotlight country (Mexico), storytelling, arts & crafts, a youth talent show, and more. This year’s theme is How Great Our Tomorrow Can Be | Qué tan grande puede ser nuestro mañana.

SHOW OFF YOUR TALENT! This year’s grand finale will be a Youth Talent Show. Interested in showing off your dance moves or special skills? Register for the talent show that will take place in MAG’s Auditorium at the end of the event, 2:30-4 pm. Registration is open to all (ages 8-21). The deadline to register is Friday, September 2.

Join us for our annual celebration of acceptance, community, diversity, learning, and love! Enjoy free museum admission, a unicorn photo op, drag storytime with Vanessa LeRoux, workshop performances by Frazee Feet Dance, and more all-ages fun. Dress in your favorite fabulous Pride look or rainbow colors outfit, pack some snacks for dinner in the Centennial Sculpture Park, or bring a blanket to picnic on the MAG lawn! Global Solidarity, Shared Responsibility: The past is local, the present is global, the future is shared

Proof of vaccination is required in the form of a vaccination card or the excelsior app. Masks are mandatory.

Join us for this special day in tribute to those living with and affected by HIV/AIDS and learn more about the upcoming exhibition Up Against the Wall: Art, Activism, and the AIDS Poster, which features HIV/AIDS Education Posters from the Atwater Collection at the University of Rochester.

5-6:30 pm | Community tables, arts & crafts, and a continuous digital display slideshow of AIDS Education Posters from the digital collection site, focusing on the history of World AIDS Day from around the world
