The Memorial Art Gallery (MAG) is pleased to announce the recipients of the inaugural 2026 Koret Fellows Emerging Artist Award, a new opportunity created as part of the M&T Bank Clothesline Art & Fine Craft Festival.

The award recognizes emerging artists in the early stages of their careers who are developing their artistic voice, experimenting across styles and mediums, and building connections within their creative communities. Award recipients receive a complimentary booth space at the 2026 festival, providing an opportunity to showcase and sell their work to a broader audience.

The 2026 Koret Fellows Emerging Artist Award recipients are: Julia Antonio, Lynn Donahue, Morgan Everly, Casey Beal, Aaron Schnittman, Darragh Kerr, Zoe Pruitt, Kristin Spath, Catherine Eaton, and Matthew Humphries.

Eligible artists created original work in categories including painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, digital art, mixed media, photography, fiber arts, jewelry, metal, glass, leather, wood, and printmaking. The Koret Fellows Emerging Artist Award was open to first-time Clothesline artists whose work demonstrated originality, creativity, and a distinct artistic vision through one-of-a-kind or limited-edition pieces. All submissions were reviewed through an anonymous jury process led by members of MAG’s curatorial team.

The M&T Bank Clothesline Art & Fine Craft Festival returns August 29 & 30, 2026, from 10:00 am–5:00 pm on the grounds of the Memorial Art Gallery, with special MAG Member shopping beginning at 9:30 am both days. Now in its 69th year, Clothesline brings together more than 300 artists from across the country for a weekend of art, live entertainment, food vendors, family activities, and museum access as part of Rochester’s largest annual celebration of the arts.

More information about the festival can be found here.
