Director’s Circle Membership Levels
The Director’s Circle is a group of art enthusiasts devoted to supporting the Memorial Art Gallery’s innovative exhibitions and programs. Annual membership at this leadership level is essential to the vitality of our museum.
Director’s Circle memberships are philanthropic, enabling MAG to do new research, publish original scholarship, and mount stunning exhibitions that offer something for everyone—from familiar masters like Monet to pioneering media artists like Isaac Julien.
Director’s Circle members receive all benefits from the Supporter level, plus:
- Invitations to two annual Director’s Circle lectures
- Private docent-led tour of the museum (by appointment)
- Acknowledgement in the Vanden Brul Pavilion
- Dual membership in the George Eastman Circle with a five-year pledge of $1,750 annually*

*The Director’s Circle and the George Eastman Circle recognize donors who support the Memorial Art Gallery with an annual gift of $1,750, or more, as members of both leadership giving societies. MAG Council Membership Levels
The MAG Council is a volunteer fundraising organization whose many projects and gifts sustain the museum and enrich our members and our community.
All MAG Council members must be current paid members of the Memorial Art Gallery. MAG Council memberships are valid for a one-year term, from September–August.
Both membership levels include:
- Regular programs: Coffee/Social hours and Art-related presentations
- Inclusion in membership directory
- Invitations to attend Docent presentations
- Art related travel opportunities
- Opportunity to volunteer at fundraisers and contribute to the growth of the MAG community
Active

Membership applies to one adult. Active members may attend meetings, serve on committees (such as Programming, Art Tours, Hospitality, and Membership), and commit to working on MAG Council fundraising projects.
Sustainer
