Recent Acquisitions: 2020–Present, Part I

December 12, 2026–August 1, 2027

Forman Gallery

Since its opening in 1913, the Memorial Art Gallery’s collection has expanded to include more than 13,000 works of art, representing cultures from around the world and across millennia. Building on over a century of collecting, the museum continues to acquire artwork to broaden the stories we share.

The growth of the collection is made possible by the generosity of the Rochester community, University of Rochester alumni, and donors who support our institution through gifts, bequests, and endowed funds.

This exhibition highlights a small selection of artworks added to the museum’s collection since 2020.
