An Artists’ Affair: We’ve Gone Virtual!

Join us from Tuesday, May 26 to Saturday, May 30 for a virtual version of An Artists’ Affair. Help us to ignite creativity, stimulate learning, and enrich the lives of Rochester’s schoolchildren.

MAG’s programs for K-12 students are at the heart of our mission to connect people, inspire fun, and ignite discovery through art. Each year, we welcome more than 7,000 schoolchildren from 36 school districts into our galleries, using art to explore world cultures and historical periods.

With COVID-19, we know the upcoming academic year will be different, but we remain just as committed to serving our youngest patrons. Your support will help us nimbly engage K-12 students with the arts, whether in our galleries…or virtually in classrooms and living rooms.

At this time, we are estimating an operating budget deficit of -$500,000 this fiscal year. We face potential cuts to beloved programs that serve our community, including those for K-12 students. Help us weather this storm and emerge from this crisis stronger and more relevant than ever, sharing the healing power of the arts as only the arts can do.

Listen in to Sydney Greaves, one of our educators at MAG, who would like to welcome you to our virtual version of An Artists’ Affair, our annual fundraiser in support of MAG’s wide range of educational outreach programs and resources.
