Pastels are so much more than a springtime color palette! In Painting with Pastels, you’ll discover effective and fun ways to “paint” with soft pastels (not to be confused with oil pastels, which won’t be used in class.) You’ll learn mark-making techniques like shouts and scumbles, watch detailed demonstrations, and receive patient help from your instructor. This class is best for students with some drawing experience.

Registration Information

Registration for this program starts on Monday, December 8, at 10:00 am for MAG Members, and Monday, December 15, at 10:00 am for Not-Yet-Members. Online registration ends on Tuesday, January 20, at 6:00 pm.

Programs with inadequate enrollment are cancelled one week before the first meeting. We will attempt to contact you via email to find an alternative program or to refund your registration fee.
