Learn to paint expressively with beautiful, bright colors in this Beginner Modern Impressionist class! Joan will guide you through the French Impressionists’ four-step process, using acrylics instead of oil paints. Explore color mixing, the differences between transparent and opaque paint, draw charcoal, quick sketches, create under-paintings, learn to “re-establish the line,” and complete your piece with opaque paints. You’ll transform from art newbie into mini-Monet while painting simple landscapes and lush florals!
