This class will help you learn how to handle watercolor and build your confidence with the medium. We will focus on the elements that make a good painting, including design, perspective, composition, tonal value, color concepts, background and foreground relationships, and atmospheric effects. Each week, the instructor will discuss and demonstrate one of these topics, showing how they can be used in your work. We will observe each other’s work and share ideas and thoughts about our paintings. The instructor will work with every student one-on-one as well as in groups. This class is a great fit for both beginning and intermediate watercolor painters.
