Art Start: Carve like John Rhoden (8ASP26)

Are you ready to put your carving skills to the test? After a guided tour of the exhibition, Determined to Be: The Sculpture of John Rhoden, your family will venture to the Creative Workshop studios to carve like Rhoden! You will be led through the practice of sketching, carving, and finishing your sculptures by one of our skilled teaching artists. Don’t worry, we are using soap, not hardwood!

Registration Information

Registration for this program starts on Monday, March 2, at 10:00 am for MAG Members, and Monday, March 9, at 10:00 am for Not-Yet-Members. Online registration ends on Saturday, May 2, at 9:00 am.

Programs with inadequate enrollment are cancelled one week before the first meeting. We will attempt to contact you via email to find an alternative program or to refund your registration fee.
