July 26–September 13, 2015 in the Grand Gallery
(members’ opening party July 25)
Every two years, Rochester’s longest-running juried exhibition showcases the talents of emerging and established artists from a 27-county region.
This year, Michael Rooks, Wieland Family Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at Atlanta’s High Museum of Art, has chosen 68 works by 46 artists from a field of 920 entries by 330 artists.
These artists are eligible for nine cash awards, among them the $1,500 Memorial Art Gallery Award, selected by the juror; the Alice Koret Award, presented by museum docents; and the Harris Popular Vote Award, selected by visitors during the first two weeks of the exhibition.
The 65th Rochester-Finger Lakes Exhibition is sponsored by M&T Bank, with additional support provided by The Rubens Family Foundation.
Thursdays at 7 pm / included in MAG admission
This series is sponsored by the Sandra G. Dreyfuss Education Endowment Fund.
