Our hands-on art classes are taught by artist-teachers, and frequently inspired by art on view in the Gallery. We teach, inspire, challenge, prompt and encourage. We love it when you make the artwork you never thought you could make.

LATE WINTER/EARLY SPRING ADULT STUDENT OPEN SHOW
March 10–April 25, 2017
The Creative Workshop’s Late Winter/Early Spring Adult Student show is on view now in the Lucy Burne Gallery. We are proud to display works from the workshop’s wide variety of adult classes, including drawing, painting, ceramics, jewelry, and weaving. As the submissions rolled in, the Creative Workshop was pleased to find that many of the pieces were perfect for the transition from the cold winter nights into the bright days of springtime. We’re especially proud of our wonderful wall of watercolors, which happily greets the viewer upon entrance to the gallery. With bold ceramics, mind-twisting Escher drawings, and color-packed still lifes, this show is a perfect cure to the winter blues. —submitted by Demi Monachino, Lucy Burne Gallery Winter intern
