For this fundraiser celebrating the MAG centennial, 41 noted regional artists have created works that reinterpret objects in the Gallery’s collection. Their works will be on view side by side with their sources of inspiration. All the new works will be available for purchase through the Gallery Store.

Opening Event

Saturday, February 9 @ 5:30 pm: Join us for the first view of Art Reflected, followed by a cocktail reception and dinner to celebrate the gifted regional artists who made it happen. Enjoy a special menu that pays tribute to the art on view, and have the first opportunity to purchase the newly created works before the show opens to the public. Tickets are $100 (Patrons $150) to benefit MAG. To purchase or for more information call 276.8910.

What’s Up Talk

Sunday, February 10 @ 2 pm: Ceramist Stephen Merritt speaks on the work he chose to reinterpret for Art Reflected. Thomas Cole’s Genesee Scenery (1846–47) was a gift of his parents, Howard and Florence Merritt. Included in Gallery admission.
