Taught by: Warren Mianecke

Preschoolers will draw, paint, construct, print, and build with a colorful variety of materials, and a little help from an accompanying grown-up. Children will enjoy several short art activities each week, with short breaks for picture book reading and fun movement and stretching games. Materials will include paint, ink, glue, watercolors, tempera paints, colorful tissue paper, and more. Projects will include textured collages, color-mixing paintings, cardboard playground sculptures, bubble wrap printmaking, pretend cake slices, and more. The class will visit MAG’s galleries on some dates to view the artwork.

Registration Information

Registration for this program starts on Monday, December 8, at 10:00 am for MAG Members, and Monday, December 15, at 10:00 am for Not-Yet-Members. Online registration ends on Thursday, January 15, at 9:30 am.

Programs with inadequate enrollment are cancelled one week before the first meeting. We will attempt to contact you via email to find an alternative program or to refund your registration fee.
