Start with Art (1F25)

Preschoolers will draw, paint, construct, print, and build with a colorful variety of materials and a little help from an accompanying grownup. Children will enjoy several short art activities each week, with short breaks in between for picture book readings and fun movement and stretching games. Materials will include paint, ink, glue, watercolors, tempera paints, colorful tissue paper, and more. Projects will include textured collages, color-mixing paintings, cardboard playground sculptures, bubble wrap printmaking, pretend cake slices, and more. The class will visit MAG’s galleries on some dates to view the artwork.

Registration for this program starts on Monday, August 18, at 10:00 am for MAG Members, and Monday, August 25, at 10:00 am for Not-Yet-Members. Online registration ends on Thursday, September 25, at 9:00 am.

Programs with inadequate enrollment are cancelled one week before the first meeting. We will attempt to contact you via email to find an alternative program or to refund your registration fee.
