Are you interested in exploring with clay? This interactive class should appeal to anyone seeking experience in hand building, throwing on the wheel, and glazing of your finished work. Students have both the opportunity to work independently or with the help of the instructor who offers support in the form of group demonstrations, as well as individualized instruction. Great for beginners or as a refresher for students with past experience. Please bring an apron or an old kitchen size towel you don’t mind getting dirty with you. We kindly ask you wear closed-toed shoes.

Materials

Students will need to purchase clay for their use. Clay in different varieties is available at the Creative Workshop for $18.00 for a 25lb bag. Glazes and firing are included in the price of the class. Please bring an old kitchen-sized towel you don’t mind getting dirty with you.
