Are you interested in exploring with clay? This interactive class is designed to appeal to anyone seeking experience in hand-building, throwing on the wheel, and glazing their finished work. Students have the opportunity to work independently or with the help of the instructor, who offers support in the form of group demonstrations and individualized instruction. Great for beginners or as a refresher for students with past experience.

Materials

NEW: Included in the cost of class is one 25-pound bag of clay of the student’s choice that will be provided to students on the first day of class, or available for pick-up when needed . Glazes and firing are also included in the class price. Please bring an old kitchen-sized towel you don’t mind getting dirty with you, and please wear closed-toed shoes.

Registration Information

Registration for this program starts on Monday, December 8, at 10:00 am for MAG Members, and Monday, December 15, at 10:00 am for Not-Yet-Members. Online registration ends on Sunday, January 11, at 9:30 am.

Programs with inadequate enrollment are cancelled one week before the first meeting. We will attempt to contact you via email to find an alternative program or to refund your registration fee.
