Join Teaching Artists, Ashley and Kevin, in this three-week Paper Marbling and Bookbinding Workshop! Students will immerse themselves in Turkish water marbling, also known as Ebru, then bind their own books or journals! In the first two classes, Ashley will demonstrate the paper marbling process with traditional marbled patterns. Students will explore color and pattern combinations in individual stations and create several sheets of marbled paper. In the final week, Kevin will teach the Coptic bookbinding technique so students can bind their own journals with gorgeous marbled covers!

Registration Information

Registration for this program starts on Monday, December 8, at 10:00 am for MAG Members, and Monday, December 15, at 10:00 am for Not-Yet-Members. Online registration ends on Tuesday, January 27, at 6:00 pm.

Programs with inadequate enrollment are cancelled one week before the first meeting. We will attempt to contact you via email to find an alternative program or to refund your registration fee.
