What goes bump in the night at MAG’s creative workshop? Campers, that’s who! For the second week of summer camp, we will look at all the things that grow under the sun and all the creepy crawlies that appear during the full moon. Should we frolic with the flowers and trees or get goofy and spooky with the monsters under our beds? Why choose? Let’s do both! Campers will experience age-old techniques working in clay and learn the basic skills needed to center clay and throw on the wheel, all while building confidence and creative expression as they create fun, functional pieces and capture the essence of nature in their details. When not working with clay, we will explore a variety of other media. All art materials are included.
