Children learn to use art materials as they express and explore, through painting, drawing, and sculpture, inspired by famous Impressionist artists, including visits to the “Frontiers of Impressionism” show at MAG, and the Monet paintings in our permanent collection. Each session includes several art activities, along with short breaks for picture book readings and fun movement and stretching games. Materials will include paint, ink, glue, watercolors, tempera paints, colorful tissue paper, and more.
All materials provided.
Registration for this program starts on Monday, December 8, at 10:00 am for MAG Members, and Monday, December 15, at 10:00 am for Not-Yet-Members. Online registration ends on Thursday, January 15, at 9:30 am.
Programs with inadequate enrollment are cancelled one week before the first meeting. We will attempt to contact you via email to find an alternative program or to refund your registration fee.
