Have you heard of Qi Gong!? While both aim to harmonize the mind and body, Qi Gong differs from Yoga by focusing on the flow of Qi and is physically easier to practice.
Return to the tranquil beauty of the Fountain Court for a grounding, heart‑opening experience that blends gentle movement with immersive live sound. This month, we are delighted to welcome back Teagan West (they/she) for Harmonic Motions.
Teagan is a Traditional Healing practitioner whose work interweaves ancestral medicine, Ayurvedic study, Medical & Electional Astrology, and Earth‑Based Energy Work. They also guide Rochester’s Ecstatic Dance community and craft ritual healing tools—such as handmade drums and rattles—rooted in their Irish, Syrian, Lebanese, and North American lineages. Learn more at thealtarhealing.com.
Enhancing the movement, Harold Taddy of The Gong Situation offers a resonant sound bath that invites deep presence, release, and transformation. His sonic landscape supports rest, renewal, and a sense of spacious clarity.
The session lasts 9:30–10:30 am, followed by a 15-minute courtesy window to ease your transition into the day. Museum admission begins at 11:00 am when the galleries open to the public.
Come curious. Move with intention. Let sound lead the way.
