This course will help you continue to hone your drawing skills and introduce you to the medium of watercolor. The class provides instruction and practice as you draw, then paint objects and spaces. Lessons cover challenging aspects of drawing such as proportions, visual measuring, shade and shadow, creating the illusion of depth, as well as capturing color using a variety of techniques to create watercolor paintings from your drawings. Students will explore composition, contrast, and the use of color. The instructor will work with every student one-on-one as well as in groups.
