For returning students. Build on learned skills in clay and make more sophisticated vessels, bowls, and plates on the wheel. Students should know the Creative Workshop’s clay bodies, glazes, and firing processes. Your teacher will demonstrate and give you hands-on help when needed. Students benefit from repeating this course. Please bring an old kitchen-sized towel you don’t mind getting dirty with you.

Materials

Students will need to purchase clay for their use. Clay in different varieties is available at the Creative Workshop for $18.00 for a 25lb bag. Glazes and firing are included in the price of the class. Please bring an old kitchen-sized towel you don’t mind getting dirty with you.

Registration Information

Registration for this program starts on Monday, August 18, at 10:00 am for MAG Members, and Monday, August 25, at 10:00 am for Not-Yet-Members. Online registration ends on Saturday, September 27, at 6:00 pm.

Programs with inadequate enrollment are cancelled one week before the first meeting. We will attempt to contact you via email to find an alternative program or to refund your registration fee.
