Beyond the Wheel – Teens (15SP25)

This class is for teens or young adults with some previous clay experience. Ceramic sculptor Robin Whiteman will be your technical support and creative cheerleader as you experiment with new forms in clay. Maybe it’s time to work a little larger and spend more time on your work… Perhaps you need to try something totally new! With this time spent on focus and technique, only one to two pieces of work may be completed during this class. We will spend some time on technique, and you’ll be given project ideas. Students will also learn by pursuing their unique vision. This class could be helpful for young artists needing to strengthen their portfolios or just wanting to have some fun with clay in a supportive environment with fellow creatives.

Registration Information

Registration for this program starts on Monday, March 10, at 10:00 am for MAG Members, and Monday, March 17, at 10:00 am for Not-Yet-Members. Online registration ends on Tuesday, April 22, at 3:30 pm.

Programs with inadequate enrollment are cancelled one week before the first meeting. We will attempt to contact you via email to find an alternative program or to refund your registration fee.
