Let’s build a city! For the final week of summer camp, campers will learn about how artists and architects all over the world have created spaces of creativity and beauty. We will then build cities and worlds from the ground up. Will your city be a home for kittens and puppies, a magical land of candy, or a futuristic space full of metal monstrosities? Campers will work collaboratively to build a city while exploring various art media. Campers will decide what is important in their cities, who lives there, how they move around, and what makes them beautiful. For the clay portion of their day, campers will explore hand-building techniques and make sculptures and useful objects out of clay and glaze.
