Roxana Aparicio Wolfe

Roxana has been an arts educator in the Rochester area for more than two decades.She teaches art appreciation classes for adults (as well as motivated teens). Her teaching style includes prepared lectures weaving history, social and political themes, and the concerns of the artists she discusses. Roxana frequently includes artworks from the museum’s permanent collection and visiting exhibits. She welcomes class discussion and includes gallery visits whenever possible.

Roxana earned her MA in Visual Arts Administration with an arts education focus from Columbia University Teachers College and a BA in painting and printmaking from Hartwick College. She has worked as a museum educator at George Eastman House and she currently teaches art history at St. John Fisher College.
