Loraine Cooley is an artist, craftsperson and teacher. Through a BFA in metals from the Rochester Institute of Technology, study in Art Education at Nazareth College and extensive travel around the globe, she has gained aesthetic and technical expertise in her field. Her jewelry, sculpture, paintings and collages have been exhibited nationally, including several Rochester Finger Lakes Exhibitions and a one-woman show, “Intimate Sculpture”, at the Dyer Arts Center at RIT. Two of her pieces are pictured and discussed in The Art and Craft of Making Jewelry (2006). She is also represented in the 2013 publication The Memorial Art Gallery 100 years in the section referring to the invitational exhibition “Art Reflected”. .Since 1987, Ms. Cooley has enjoyed her role as Jewelry Instructor at the Memorial Art Gallery’s Creative Workshop in Rochester, NY.

She maintains an art studio where she continues to create custom, one of a kind and limited edition jewelry as well as sculpture, collage and paintings.
