Discover the wonderful world of clay with this playful party! Our teaching artist staff will lead an intro-to-clay lesson, showing the kids how to roll, coil, and create a slab using air-dry clay. Then, the kids will practice color-mixing with washable markers to “dye” their white clay by drawing on it! Your kiddos will love the tactile feeling of rolling the clay to reveal a new color. Next, they’ll build their own clay creations and decorate them using tons of colorful materials like pom-poms, gems, feathers, and sequins!

In our Puppet Creation party, creativity takes center stage! Kids will have a blast designing and drawing their puppets using cardstock and markers. Our teaching artists will guide your party through cutting out the pieces of the puppet and attaching them in unique ways to create movement. Your kiddos will love decorating their puppets using fun embellishments like gems, sequins, pom-poms, and feathers. Once the puppets are ready, your party will let their imaginations run wild as they explore characters with their friends. It’s a hands-on art project that turns every child into a puppet master!

Do you love animals? We do, too! At this party, you’ll brainstorm your favorite animals and their distinctive details like fluffy feathers, patterned fur, swinging tails, and pointy talons. Then, you’ll draw your very own ARTimal hybrid creature on cardstock and color it with creamy oil pastels. Next, your party will discover the magic of the resist art technique by painting watercolors over the whole piece. Will you design an axolotl with butterfly wings, an elephant mermaid, or a ferocious duck with dinosaur teeth? We can’t wait to see what your party animals will create!

If you love rainbows as much as the Creative Workshop, this art project is for you! Your party will first paint their own rainbow, then collage each color of the rainbow with matching materials. Our teaching artists love this fun twist on a traditional color wheel using colorful trinkets like pom-poms, gems, sequins, beads, and buttons. Finally, you’ll draw, color, and cut clouds to add to either side of your one-of-a-kind rainbow.

In the Creative Workshop, there is nothing better than a blank canvas, tons of brushes, and fresh paints! In our Blank Canvas Birthday Bash, your guests will paint their hearts out on their canvas using all the colors of the rainbow. Our teaching artists will demonstrate brush strokes, patterns, gestures, and discuss color-mixing. Your party will enjoy the freedom of using their imagination to paint whatever they like and decorate with colorful materials like pom-poms, gems, buttons, sequins, and feathers!

Paint and decorate a hand-made ornament crafted by our amazing Creative Workshop Ceramics Team! At this party, your kiddos will paint a piece of pre-fired pottery with acrylic paints and varnish. Then, they’ll glue on sequins and gems to give their project pizazz! Our teaching artist staff will explain color theory and paint mixing to achieve vibrant colors, and the kids will get to mix their own paint palettes. After painting, your guests will choose a ribbon to string through their ornament for easy hanging. Everyone gets to take their project home at the end of the party!

Our Ornaments Parties are Special Edition and run for a limited time while supplies last! 

Choose one ornament party theme:

• “Butterfly, Flower, Star, Heart Ornaments”: Choose any two ornaments for your entire party to paint and decorate
• Circle Ornament: your party will paint and decorate one circle ornament
• “Just Desserts” Ornaments: your party will paint and decorate all four ornaments! Everyone will receive a soft serve ice cream cone, an ice cream sundae with a cherry on top, two ice cream scoops on a waffle cone, and a popsicle

Create your very own hand-built ceramic mug at the Creative Workshop! Led by our ceramic teaching artists, you’ll build the pieces of your mug using slabs of clay on a form. Next, you’ll choose from a variety of fun stamps, patterned rolling pins, and other found textures to design the outside of your mug. Then, you’ll create a handle to grip when you sip before choosing a glaze color for the final decorative touch on your new favorite mug. Our ceramic technicians will glaze and fire your mug after your party. The Creative Workshop will contact you to schedule a pickup time for the finished projects.

Bowl over your friends with this hand-built ceramic bowl party! Led by our ceramic teaching artists, you’ll build the pieces of your bowl using slabs over on a form. Next, you’ll design the bowl’s interior and exterior using fun stamps, patterned rolling pins, and other found textures. Give your bowl a rim using a clay coil, and choose your glaze color for the final decorative touch! Our ceramic technicians will glaze and fire your mug after your party. The Creative Workshop will contact you to schedule a pickup time for the finished bowls.
