The 25-minute mini-recital is included with museum admission. \nOwned by the Eastman School of Music\, the fully restored Italian Baroque organ is the only full-size antique Italian organ in North America. The organ is the centerpiece of an installation that highlights more than 30 major Baroque-period paintings and sculptures.

DESCRIPTION:Going for Baroque is a weekly series of mini-recitals at the Memorial Art Gallery. It is offered each Sunday at 1:30 pm and again at 3:00 pm. It offers the opportunity for students from the Eastman School of Music to perform alongside professional musicians on the Italian Baroque organ on the second floor of the museum. The 25-minute mini-recital is included with museum admission. \nOwned by the Eastman School of Music\, the fully restored Italian Baroque organ is the only full-size antique Italian organ in North America. The organ is the centerpiece of an installation that highlights more than 30 major Baroque-period paintings and sculptures.

DESCRIPTION:Experience Frontiers of Impressionism: Paintings from the Worcester Art Museum on an American Sign Language (ASL) tour\, led by Deaf tour guide Jackie Schertz. \nThis tour is designed for the d/Deaf community in ASL only. An ASL tour with voice interpretation will be offered on Saturday\, December 13\, at 1:00 pm. \nAbout the Tour Guide\nJackie Schertz hails from New York City\, where her love of the arts grew.  She graduated from RIT\, where she earned a bachelors degree in Social Work and a masters in Career and Human Resource Development. She is currently retired from a long career at NTID. Throughout\, Jackie always kept her love of art on the side. As an artist her primary art medium is stained glass. Her love of art and history also led her to train and serve as a docent at MAG. \n\nRegistration for this tour ends on Friday\, December 5\, at 1:00 pm.
