SUMMARY:Going for Baroque
DESCRIPTION:Going for Baroque is a weekly series of mini-recitals at the Memorial Art Gallery. It is offered each Sunday at 1:30 pm and again at 3:00 pm. It offers the opportunity for students from the Eastman School of Music to perform alongside professional musicians on the Italian Baroque organ on the second floor of the museum. The 25-minute mini-recital is included with museum admission. \nOwned by the Eastman School of Music\, the fully restored Italian Baroque organ is the only full-size antique Italian organ in North America. The organ is the centerpiece of an installation that highlights more than 30 major Baroque-period paintings and sculptures.

DESCRIPTION:August 3–7\, 2026 \nDiscover the Great ARTdoors with the Creative Workshop\, where we will combine art\, adventure\, and nature! Campers will explore MAG’s sculpture park and create far-off lands\, invent animal-filled environments\, and discover tons of natural textures in artmaking. Will you build a bird’s nest\, print using leaves\, or sketch intricate dragonfly wings? The week will end with an art show on Friday in MAG’s Vanden Brul Pavilion\, where families can view campers’ creations.
