Join us for a celebration of the combined beauty of art and floral design as color, texture, and fragrance fill the event spaces of the Memorial Art Gallery. See imaginative interpretations of artworks by local floral designers in a collaborative exhibition by the Gallery Council of the Memorial Art Gallery and the 7th District Federated Garden Clubs NYS, Inc.
Both Saturday and Sunday will have optional workshops and seminars led by local experts in horticulture, gardening, and floral design.
General tickets include: admission on one day to the museum and viewing of all floral arrangements
Workshop tickets include: admission to one workshop
Reserved tickets include: admission on Saturday, lecture, and luncheon
Patron tickets include: admission on Saturday and Sunday, lecture, luncheon, and unlimited workshops/seminars

11:30 am — Lecture by famed botanical jewelry designer Sarah Boynton, for Patron and Reserved attendees

2:30-3:30 pm — Workshops/Seminars
- Floral Art History: Roses, lilies, violets, daisies… artists have drawn on their beauty and symbolism. Nancy McAfee will follow flowers in paintings from ancient to modern times.
- SOLD OUT – Tablescaping Designs with Flowers and More: Meg Benedict of Kittelberger Florist and Gifts will create whimsical floral tablescapes using mismatched stemware, pottery shards, and forgotten vases that are within reach.
- SOLD OUT – Contain Your Enthusiasm!: Dawn Borgeest, owner of Smitten Home and Garden, will inspire beautiful and bountiful flower containers for your home, as well as tips on containing and maintaining lush pots.
- Loving Lavender… Peonies Too!: Bristol Hills Lavender and Flower Farm will present a workshop on the varieties of lavender and their uses, including how to make a lavender/sugar scrub.

- home sweet sanctuary: Think you’re powerless to save birds, bees, and restore biodiversity? Noreen Riordan, owner of Birdsong Landscape Design will explore how adding native plants can help.
- Love Is in the Air… A Do-It-Yourself Wedding: The wedding and flower designer from Destination Kohler will demonstrate the construction of centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and tablescapes.
- SOLD OUT – Hands-On Ikebana Workshop: Saskia Eller, Master Teacher of the Ohara Ikebana School of the Ikebana International Chapter 53 of Rochester, leads a workshop – participants create an arrangement.
