Shelly Green Stoler has taught ceramics at the Creative Workshop since 1996. Her classes stress patience, process and a relaxed atmosphere. Her own wheel-thrown pottery (available at the Gallery Store) reflects the craftsmanship and aesthetics she teaches to students from absolute beginners to the most advanced.
Shelly studied at SUNY Cortland and RIT. She has taught workshops for NYS Art Teacher Association, and was previously a visiting instructor in the Rochester City School District. She has shown her work at the Ward Gallery, Dawson Gallery and Craft Company #6, and has won Merit Awards at MAG’s Clothesline Festival.
