Eddie Davis III
Eddie Davis, III has taught at the Creative Workshop since 1996, most recently drawing and design classes for kids and teens. He is the art teacher at Rochester Prep West Elementary campus where he teaches grades K through 3.
Eddie earned a BFA in industrial design at Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA in sculpture at Rochester Institute of Technology. He served as an assistant professor of industrial design in RIT’s College of Imaging Arts & Sciences from 2004-08.

Eddie has successfully taught many classes at the Creative Workshop, including the drawing and design portion of Teen Fashion Camp, Beginning Drawing, and Illustration. He is known for both his sense of humor as well as his endlessly creative ideas he uses when teaching children in Art Day School, cartooning, puppetry, drawing what they see and how to take ideas from a flat piece of paper to a real 3 Dimensional object.

Eddie is also the illustrator of a 54-page graphic novel published in May 2014 by the Democrat and Chronicle. Read the book
