Bobby owns and operates Roc Paint Sip and will teach painting, drawing, and other related classes starting in the Winter 2023 session. Teaching at the Creative Workshop comes naturally for Bobby after years of painting and teaching.

He holds a BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD. His experience as an artist range from public works of art to private collections. He has participated in numerous juried exhibitions throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. For many years, he worked as a graphic artist for Wegmans Food Markets, galvanizing his ability to provide exceptional customer service while striving for the highest standards and valuing diversity. His volunteer work has been dedicated to the youth in the community as a mentor in Americorps and as a little league coach. He also taught arts and humanities at Gates Chili High School.

He is a proud member of the Visitor Industry Council of Visit Rochester collaborating with businesses of all sizes to promote and highlight all that Rochester has to offer. His blog focuses on art, family, and current events, and is steadily growing in readership since its inception in 2019.

He tells us “Three things I am passionate about are my family, painting and baseball. Painting is one of the best ways to learn and connect with one another and I am looking forward to connecting with you at the MAG.”
