An Artists' Affair Artwork Donation Form

Do you have artwork you don’t know what to do with? Are you an artist who would like to promote your work while supporting a good cause?

Donate to MAG’s fundraiser, An Artists’ Affair: Art Off the Walls! Attendees of the event will have the opportunity to choose from this curated array of beautiful donated artworks. All proceeds from An Artists’ Affair support MAG’s Academic Programs – and that support includes your donated items! We could not have this exciting event without you. Give your artwork a second life or get it in the hands of collectors and art enthusiast!

We are seeking the following items:*

  • Framed paintings, drawings, photography
  • Wall art, décor, and sculptures
  • One-of-a-kind ceramics, vases, and glass works

* Donations should have an estimated value between $300-$5,000

We are accepting artwork donations until May 10!

Instructions

  • Complete the artwork donation form one of three ways:
  • Drop-off your items at MAG’s Admission desk during museum hours:
    • Wednesday through Sunday from 11-5 pm and until 9 pm on Thursdays
  • You will be issued a formal tax receipt for any gift that meets IRS guidelines for tax deductibility.
  • We encourage those who want to donate very large items to schedule a time for drop off.

    *Donations should have an estimated value of $300 - $5,000. For information on how this donation will impact your income tax return, please consult your tax advisor. We will issue a formal tax receipt for any gift that meets IRS guidelines for tax deductibility. For non-cash gifts, your tax receipt will not display a dollar amount or value but only a description of the item(s) donated. It is the donor’s responsibility to substantiate the value of non-cash gifts to the IRS. We can only issue tax receipts for tangible items such as food, art, books, coins, jewelry, and bottles of wine. We cannot issue tax receipts for intangible items such as services, labor, entertainment, accommodations, or use of facilities. Values stated as “priceless” will be procedurally valued at $1. Values over $5,000 may require a third-party appraisal.
