Art is meant to be explored and enjoyed, and we want to provide you the best experience possible. Your safety and well-being are most important to us. To ensure all visitors can enjoy the museum safely, we’re asking for your partnership. Rest assured that we will be following all Federal, State & University of Rochester protocols.

Please reserve your timed tickets before you visit!
For a touchless experience the MAG has Advance Sales tickets available online with NO additional fee. Tickets are available every 90 minutes; 11 am, 12:30 pm, 2 pm, 3:30 pm, and Thursdays 5 and 7 pm. Tickets will also be available for walk-in guests as capacity allows.

Tickets are currently available through April 26, 2021. Sign up for our MAG eblasts to get the heads-up on future ticket releases. And bring your mask!

UR Admission Tickets

University of Rochester professors, staff, and students are free. Please visit the Admission Desk with a valid ID to receive your same-day ticket.

Other Free Passes

If you have a free admissions pass or are eligible for *free admission, please visit the MAG Admissions Desk to redeem your pass and reserve your same-day ticket. A $5 surcharge may be applicable.

Arrive within 15 minutes of your start time. Later arrival may void your ticket depending on capacity. Please limit your visit within the gallery spaces to 90 minutes. You do not need a ticket to visit THE STORE @ MAG, Brown Hound Downtown, or the Sculpture Park.

By purchasing a timed visit ticket, you have agreed to follow the COVID-19 Visitor Policies put in place by the Memorial Art Gallery of the University of Rochester:

  • Wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth
  • Wash your hands frequently
  • Maintain physical distance of at least 6 feet from other groups
  • Two persons per elevator
  • Come back another day if you are not feeling well
