"ASK ME" VOLUNTEERS

"Ask Me" volunteers welcome and provide a friendly atmosphere for visitors to the Gallery during special events. Prospective volunteers must apply in writing to the administrator of volunteer services and tours. There are no educational requirements, but one should have an interest in art, strong communication skills, commitment to a short training session and a minimum of a 2-3 hour assignment each month. "Ask Me" volunteers are expected to attend two meetings a year to refresh training, and to keep current on Gallery programs and exhibitions. They are invited to attend docent orientations.

For more information on volunteering at the Memorial Art Gallery, please call Mary Ann Monley, Administrator of Volunteer Services and Tours, at 585.276.8974.
