Public Programs
The Memorial Art Gallery is a place to see and learn about art. There are programs for everyone, from families to mature adults, from novices to experts.
Attend illustrated lectures and gallery talks by distinguished scholars and artists, speaking on topics ranging from ancient archaeology to contemporary criticism.
Listen to concerts on the Italian Baroque organ, situated in the midst of artwork of the same period.
Come hear the Society for Chamber Music perform several times yearly.
Participate in the dynamic, interactive series of annual cultural celebrations, including Hispanic Heritage Month, Kwanzaa, Black History Month, and Asian Pacific American Family Day. During 2007-08, participate in Across Borders community events.
Sign language interpretation is available for all programs. Touch tours are available for visitors who are blind or visually impaired. Please call the Education Department at 585.276.8970 two weeks in advance to request these services.
