On Saturday, March 19, more than a thousand people of all ages and cultural backgrounds celebrated Nowruz, the Persian New Year, at a community day hosted by MAG. They enjoyed talks, tours, traditional music and (of course) tea and sweets.
The event was funded in part by a grant from the Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester, the New York State Council on the Arts, and the New York State Legislature with additional support from the International Culture & Arts Network and MAG.
