New to the Creative Workshop! After working with the Creative Workshop as a teacher’s assistant, Rachel joins our staff as a teacher this year. She brings exciting new energy to our kids drawing classes.

Simonson’s own paintings, drawings and photographs explore interpersonal relationships and relationships people develop with their environment. She took classes here at the Creative Workshop as a child and went on to study at Alfred University, after graduating from Rochester’s School of the Arts. Rachel holds a BFA in both painting and photography and is the proprietor of Peacock Fine Arts.

Her work has been displayed throughout the art world, including recent exhibitions in New York City, Washington DC, Minneapolis, West Palm Beach, Dublin, Ireland, and Florence, Italy.
