Changing Hands: Art Without Reservation 3, which opens November 18 in the Grand Gallery, showcases contemporary Native and First Nations art. In the meantime, stop by the Forman Gallery to see works from the MAG collection by three Native artists—Emmi Whitehorse of New Mexico, the late George Morrison of Minnesota, and G. Peter Jemison of our own region. Each of these artists explores the beauty and power of the natural landscape with an expressive, individualized vocabulary of color, line and space.
Pictured is Snowball Shadows (2001), a color lithograph by Jemison, whose work is also featured in Changing Hands.
