William B. Webber, a longtime Gallery leader and volunteer, died January 31 at the age of 94. As chair of the Capital Gifts Committee, Webber was instrumental in the success of that campaign in the mid-80s; with his leadership, the Gallery was able to expand eastward with the Vanden Brul Pavilion that today connects the museum with Cutler Union.
“Bill and his late wife Jackie were distinctive spirits who truly exemplified the best in volunteer leadership and support,” says MAG director Grant Holcomb.
