Family/Community Days

Several times each year, the Memorial Art Gallery opens its doors and offers Rochester area families and community members the opportunity to learn more about specific cultures. These events for all ages feature hands-on art activities, music and dance demonstrations, storytelling, and a variety of cultural displays. Suggested donation $5 per family.

Community Free Day 2015

As a response to this past summer’s tragic shootings on Genesee Street, the Memorial Art Gallery was open free of charge on Saturday, August 29, from 11 am to 5 pm. Instead of admission, MAG collected voluntary contributions to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Rochester.
