Looking Back: Cuba Through 36 Eyes

Cuba Vinales Main St-webIn January 2014, the Gallery Council sponsored a week-long trip to Cuba licensed by People to People. The group spent time in Havana, Vinales Valley, Cienfuegos and Trinidad; toured museums, historic sites and artist studios; and enjoyed unique educational experiences. In spring 2014, an exhibition at Image City Photography Gallery on University Avenue featured art by 15 of the travelers, their Cuban guide, and two professional Cuban photographers who worked with them.
