New at the Workshop! In 1995, Brooke Millecchia received her BFA in ceramics from West Virginia University and immediately began her career as a studio potter. In 2002, she took an interest in teaching intermediate students so that they too could become independent professional potters. Today, she finds balance by growing as an ceramic artist, sharing her passion of clay with students, gives workshops, and teaches at local art studios. As an instructor, Brooke uses her experience and her humor to help students develop their own unique style.
Brooke’s work has been displayed in festivals and galleries throughout Western New York, including 100 American Craftsmen in Buffalo and the Corn Hill Arts Festival and the Clothesline Festival in Rochester. Her work is on display at Studio Sales Pottery, Memorial Art Gallery Store, Gandee Gallery, Mostly Clay and Fairport Pharmacy.
